Kelly Clarkson Rocks Cover Of Aerosmith’s ‘Dude (Looks Like A Lady)’

Kelly Clarkson performed a cover of Aerosmith‘s “Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” on Monday, May 10, for the “Kellyoke” segment on her talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

The singer delivered a rocking cover of “Dude (Looks Like a Lady) surrounded by flashing red and white lights around her, while backed by her band and backup singers.

“Dude (Looks Like a Lady)” is a track from Aerosmith’s 1987 album Permanent Vacation. The track reached No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 41 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart, and No. 4 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

The song was written by lead singer Steven Tyler, lead guitarist Joe Perry and professional songwriter Desmond Child.

Clarkson has previously covered Aerosmith’s “Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” “Dream On” and “Cryin'” on her show.
