Lainey Wilson Shares New Single ‘Country’s Cool Again’

Lainey Wilson recently released a new single, “Country’s Cool Again.” The release is Wilson’s first since her 2022 album, Bell Bottom Country.

Wilson wrote “Country’s Cool Again” with frequent collaborators Trannie Anderson and Dallas Wilson, and her band leader, guitarist Aslan Freeman.

The new song, which showcases Wilson’s Western roots and upbringing, highlights the revival of the country way of life.

“This track is an ode to my upbringing and the story of my journey in this industry – where I have been and where I am now,” Wilson said in a statement. “I’m feeling all the love from Country music fans, and I can’t wait to hear everyone singing this song back to me while we’re out on the road this year.”

“I was born in boots on humble ground/These kind of roots they sure don’t grow out,” Wilson sings.

“I’m so excited for everyone to hear ‘Country’s Cool Again.’ This song is a welcome to everyone who wants in on the Western way of life. For a lot of us, Country music isn’t just a genre, it’s our livelihood,” Wilson says. “Thank you to my amazing collaborators and my producer for helping me bring the idea of this song to life. Country’s Cool Again y’all!”
