Morgan Wallen has been announced as the headliner for several Country Thunder Festivals in 2022.
Wallen, who had canceled his summer 2021 appearances due to the “N-Word” controversy, including a number of Country Thunder festival dates, will headline three of the five Country Thunder festivals in the U.S. in 2022.
Wallen will headline Country Thunder Arizona in Florence, which is scheduled between April 7-10, 2022; Country Thunder Wisconsin in Twin Lakes, which will take place July 21-24; and Country Thunder Florida in Kissimmee, set for October 21-23.
Meanwhile, despite Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album being nominated for album of the year at the CMA Awards, he will not be allowed to attend the 55th annual awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place in Nashville on November 10.
The country music singer and songwriter was also excluded from the Billboard Music Awards and ACM Awards earlier this year. He was disqualified from all the industry voted categories of the ACM Awards.
