Taylor Swift Joins Ed Sheeran For Duet Of ‘The Joker And The Queen’

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift have teamed up for an elegant new version of Sheeran’s “The Joker and The Queen,” the latest single from his 2021 album, =.

The new reimagined version of the song and its music video “captures the coming-of-age story of the now 18-year-olds, Ava and Jack, as they head to university and embark on new adventures,” according to a press release.

“This video makes me think of our friendship all these years,” Swift wrote on her Instagram Story, adding how she “can’t believe Jack & Ava from the Everything Has Changed video came back and did this!! Nostalgic heaven!”

“Me and Taylor first met and wrote + recorded our first song together in 2012, ten years ago now, I’m so so honored to have her on this song,” Sheeran wrote on Twitter after the video premiered.

He added, “Not only is she the best singer/songwriter in the world but she’s also a very close friend, I’m very lucky to have her in my life.”

This is for the fourth song that the pop superstars are collaborating.
