Taylor Swift, Saweetie Announced As ‘Saturday Night Live’ Musical Guests

“Saturday Night Live” has announced another round of musical guests that includes Taylor Swift and Saweetie.

Swift will perform on SNL on November 13, the day after she releases Red (Taylor’s Version). It will be Swift’s fifth appearance on the show. Actor Jonathan Majors, popular for his portrayal of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU, will be the host for the episode.

Swift’s last appearance on the show was in 2019, when she performed “Lover” and “False God” from her Billboard 200-topping album Lover.

Saweetie will make debut appearance on SNL on November 20. Simu Liu, another MCU actor who recently portrayed the title role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, will host alongside the rapper. Saweetie’s debut album Pretty Bitch Music was scheduled to drop earlier this year, but a new release date has not been announced yet.

Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran will perform this weekend along with Kieran Culkin as host. The British singer-songwriters was doubtful after being diagnosed with COVID-19 last month. However, he has clarified that his quarantine period is over and he will perform on the show.

“Posting this pic to say I’m released from covid isolation today, so if you see me out and about I’ve had the all clear and done my quarantine. Excited to hit the ground running with work again, and SNL is still on, so tune in Saturday, see you there,” Sheeran tweeted.
