Taylor Swift Shares ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version)’

Taylor Swift released “This Love (Taylor’s Version)” at midnight on Friday (May 6), less than a day after teasing the re-recorded version through the trailer for the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, “The Summer I Turned Pretty.”

“Thank you @jennyhan for debuting my version of ‘This Love’ in the trailer for @thesummeriturnedpretty!! I’ve always been so proud of this song and I’m very [pleading face emojis] about this turn of events,” Swift wrote on Instagram alongside the trailer.

“This Love” originally appeared on Swift’s 2014 album 1989. Last September, Swift released a new version of her “Wildest Dreams,” another song from the 1989 album.

“Saw you guys got Wildest Dreams trending on tiktok, thought you should have my version,” she wrote on Twitter at the time.

In August 2019, Swift announced that she would be re-recording her first six albums following the multi-million-dollar acquisition of her original masters by Scooter Braun.

Swift has already released new editions of Fearless and Red.
