Toby Keith is set to be honored with the Country Icon Award at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards.
The People’s Choice Country Awards are scheduled to take place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Thursday, September 28.

Country superstar Blake Shelton will present the award to Toby Keith.
According to a press release, the award honors Keith for “his decades-long career as a groundbreaking musician, humanitarian and entrepreneur.”
