Trisha Yearwood Reveals Garth Brooks Refused To Leave Her Side During Covid-19 Battle

Trisha Yearwood is in all praise for her husband Garth Brooks for refusing to leave her side when she contracted COVID-19 in February.

“He was really wonderful … He was really great,” Yearwood said while making a guest appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” recently.

Recalling her battle with the coronavirus, losing her senses of taste and smell, the country music star said Brooks remained close to her, despite him testing negative for the virus.

“I’m like, ‘You have to get away from me. You have to quarantine in another room … I cannot give Garth Brooks COVID.’ And he never did [contract it]. And [when] he had the vaccine, he didn’t have any [side effects] – not even a sore arm,” Yearwood told Kelly Clarkson.

“He’s an alien and I think we’ve proved this,” she added jokingly about her singer-songwriter husband.
