Willie Nelson Announces New Album ‘I Don’t Know A Thing About Love’

Willie Nelson has announced that he will release a new studio album, I Don’t Know A Thing About Love, on CD and digital on Friday, March 3, via Sony Legacy Recordings.

Nelson also said that Vinyl Me, Please (VMP) will be offering an exclusive 12-inch vinyl edition of the project, which is his 73rd studio record, later this year.

For the upcoming album, Nelson and his band reportedly recorded fresh interpretations of 10 classic compositions penned by the legendary American songwriter Harlan Howard.

I Don’t Know A Thing About Love is produced by Nelson’s longtime creative partner Buddy Cannon. The record includes fresh interpretations of classics like “Streets of Baltimore,” “Tiger By the Tail” and “Too Many Rivers.”

The album also includes Nelson’s cover of “Busted,” penned by Howard in 1962 and recorded the following year by Johnny Cash for his concept album, Blood, Sweat and Tears.
