Taylor Swift’s ‘Blank Space’ Video Reaches Three Billion Views On YouTube

Pop superstar Taylor Swift‘s music video for “Blank Space” recently hit another big milestone as it scored 3 billion views on YouTube.

“Blank Space” is the second single from Swift’s fifth studio album, 1989. Swift co-wrote “Blank Space” with its producers Max Martin and Shellback. “Blank Space” becomes the second video from 1989 after “Shake It Off” to cross 3 billion views on YouTube.

“Blank Space” spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified eight times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. It also topped charts in Australia, Canada, Iceland, Scotland, and South Africa.

The song earned three nominations at the 58th Grammy Awards, including two general categories: Record of the Year and Song of the Year.

The Joseph Kahn-directed music video for “Blank Space,” meanwhile, took home the awards for best female video and best pop video at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.
